The Global Health MSc programme is a unique and creative learning opportunity that provides a well-rounded mix of knowledge and skills for solving global health difficulties and public health issues. The programme, which is based on the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals, will provide students with the opportunity to gain transferable skills that they may use to apply for jobs working with global communities both overseas and in the UK. Introduction to Global Health, Critical Issues in Global Health, Global Health Skills, Researching Global Health, and Global Health Dissertation are among the modules that students will take. Staff with experience from a variety of backgrounds, including practice and research, will teach the course. The course will give students the opportunity to develop interdisciplinary abilities, as well as the tools to work as part of an interdisciplinary team. Students may be able to volunteer (subject to availability) with varied communities both nationally and worldwide through DMU Local and DMU Square Mile to further improve their talents.
