This course, developed in collaboration with industry and approved by the NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre), directly meets the extraordinary need for cyber security knowledge. It investigates the cyber domain underpinning technology as well as the role of language, psychology, and sociology in coping with emerging cyber issues. Students will study a variety of topics, including Cyber Threat Intelligence, Malware Analysis, Penetration Testing, and Incident Response, which will provide them with the core skills required to succeed in the industry. The engagement of the Industrial Advisory Group (Airbus, BT, Deloitte UK, and Rolls-Royce) in the design and execution of the programme ensures that the teaching stays current and supportive of the real difficulties encountered by cyber security professionals. Students will be trained by recognised cyber security specialists and will create their professional skills within the Cyber Technology Institute (CTI), with its purpose-built cyber security and forensics laboratories.
