  • Step 1- Get a CoE after applying to a school in Australia.

Before you may submit an application for an Australian student visa, you must be registered at an Australian institution. If you have received an offer letter from a school, accepted the offer in writing, and paid their tuition deposit, the school will provide you with a CoE, or confirmation of enrolment. You need these papers in order to begin the visa application process.

  • Step 2- Register with the Australian immigration authorities.

Most visa applications for Australia may now be submitted online. Before starting your visa application, you must create an account at https://online.immi.gov.au/lusc/register  You'll need to provide your name, contact information, and email address. After that, you may select a password and accept its conditions.

  • Step 3- Be certain to have all necessary documentation in digital format.

The following paperwork is required in order to apply for a student visa:

  • Your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)
  • insurance via the OSHC.
  • A passport that, ideally, should be valid for the entirety of your time in Australia because it will be challenging to exchange it there while you are studying on a student visa.
  • Proof of a brief stay: You must attest on your application that you only want to visit Australia briefly. Attaching evidence of employment, a letter from your home institution or other supporting documentation might be used to prove this claim.
  • Additional documentation may be required depending on where you apply from and where you plan to study. Typical papers that you could require include-
    • other identification documents, including a birth certificate
    • Providing evidence, such as a bank statement, demonstrating you can afford your education
    • Evidence proving you have the knowledge necessary to succeed in your chosen study, such as official grade reports and IELTS test results
    • Evidence of prior employment, such as a contract of employment or pay stubs, is required.
    • evidence of any criminal offences for which you have already been found guilty.
    • All supporting documentation must be provided electronically if you are applying online. Therefore, it is advantageous if you can scan everything in advance or have access to a scanner while you complete the application. A competent translator should convert every document to English. If you are missing any papers, you may save your application and resume it later.

  • Step 4- Fill out the online visa application.

Applying for a subclass 500 student visa is advised. The application can be submitted as early as 124 days before the commencement of your course (according to the date on your CoE).

  • Step 5- Get a TRN number after paying the visa cost.

Following completion of the application, you must pay the 575 AUD application cost. Online credit card payment is the simplest option. You will receive a receipt with a TRN number after the application and payment have been completed (Transaction Reference Number). Make care to save your application so you can monitor its development.

  • Step 6- Possible medical examination and interview

You may also need to have a health exam and/or go through a visa interview, depending on where you will study and reside. If it applies to you, you will be given this information after submitting the aforementioned application. Avoid getting your health checked before submitting the application since you will need your TRN number and instructions on what to check.

  • Step 7- Decide on your Visa

It could take some time to receive your visa decision depending on where you are applying from and how busy the Australian immigration officers are. You may monitor the status of your application by visiting the immigration website, logging in using the account you created in step 2, and, if required, providing your TNR number. Once your visa decision is prepared, the Australian authorities will typically email you to let you know. Since your visa is electronic, if you want physical documentation, you can print the grant letter you get online when your visa is approved.

  • Step 8- Travel to Australia

Once you get your visa, you can travel to Australia no later than 90 days prior to the course start date listed on your Certificate of Enrollment. Within seven days of your arrival in Australia, you should let your school know where you will be staying if you haven't reserved housing via them. You typically have the freedom to remain in Australia for 30 days following the completion of your study, or 60 days if your course is longer than 10 months. All of these time restrictions should be noted on your visa, and if it contains information that differs from what we've described here, you should always abide by them.

  • Students receive more from a UK degree than merely a top-notch academic qualification. Additionally, as a part of their education, it may provide them with worthwhile internship opportunities. These placements, internships, and volunteer opportunities are intended to help students develop new skills, network with others, and apply what they have learned in a real-world setting. Students are guaranteed to discover a placement that's perfect for them because UK institutions have such strong relationships with every industry (from engineering to fashion to science and beyond). Another reason why UK graduates are among the most employable in the world is why they earn more, and why they advance further in their careers than their contemporaries who received their education overseas. And that's why a UK degree can truly help pupils stand out in an increasingly competitive jobs market.

  • The UK has a well-established academic reputation. The UK's approach to education, which is based on a legacy that is now several centuries old, uses the most recent learning theory via institutions that consistently place at the top of worldwide rankings. Employers from all around the world seek out successful, adaptable graduates produced by the UK's creative educational techniques.

  • Since they started, UK institutions have consistently placed highly in global rankings. According to the Times Higher Education World Rankings for 2021, two of the top ten universities in the world, including the University of Oxford, were situated in the UK. Seven of the top 50 and 26 of the top 200 institutions in the world are located in the UK, demonstrating the excellent calibre of education offered there.

  • Students can be sure they are receiving the greatest instruction, support, and resources since the government holds all 162 of the UK's higher education institutions to high standards. In order to let students easily compare the programme quality throughout the country and ensure that their credentials will be recognised overseas, a comprehensive list of "authorised bodies"—universities and colleges that may confer degrees—is produced each year. The Register of Regulated Qualifications contains details on Recognized Awarding Organizations and Regulated Qualifications in England (Ofqual), Wales (Welsh Government), and Northern Ireland.

  • Traditional lectures are combined with a range of cutting-edge teaching methods in UK universities to promote independent thought, problem-solving abilities, and self-motivation. Whether in the classroom, lab, or on field excursions, students will be working in small groups to solve real-life challenges from their future jobs.

  • Students will have access to cutting-edge technology, including interactive displays and online learning as well as state-of-the-art laboratories.

  • Students will have the chance to study from the finest in their profession because many professors in UK universities are thought leaders in their business. Students will have one-on-one access to these professors so they may benefit from their wealth of knowledge. Additionally, UK schools foster links with the business, giving students the chance to gain hands-on experience in their profession at globally renowned companies and to network to advance their careers.

  • The UK has long been a favourite destination for foreign students from all over the world thanks to its continuously strong educational standards, which have also kept the nation at the forefront of world research. In terms of science and research, the UK is ranked second in the world, and 54% of its production is at the top in its field. Since the UK has a greater field-weighted citation impact than the US, Canada, Germany, Japan, and Brazil, students who choose to study there may be confident they'll be collaborating with some of the brightest brains and utilising some of the best technologies available.

  • With the introduction of the new Graduate Route, overseas students who have successfully completed an undergraduate or master's degree will be able to take advantage of two years of work experience in the UK following graduation. After completing their PhDs, students will be permitted to stay for three years. International students with a current student visa who have successfully completed an undergraduate degree or higher at a higher education provider with a proven track record of compliance are eligible for the Graduate Route. Successful candidates on this path will be allowed to stay, work, or look for a job in the UK for a maximum of two years if they have completed an undergraduate or master's degree. PhD holders will be permitted to remain for three years. Once they have secured a position that suits them, graduates will be able to transition to skilled labour. Any qualified student who graduates after the new route's introduction date on July 1st 2021 may submit an application for the new route. Students who have already begun their courses are included in this. Students who wish to use the Graduate Route must submit a fresh visa application and pay the £700 visa cost as well as the yearly £624 Immigration Health Surcharge.

  • The flexibility provided by educational institutions is one of the primary benefits of choosing the UK by students. In constructing their programmes at UK universities and other educational institutions, students are able to mix disciplines they find exciting. In order to improve their prospects of landing a job, students should also integrate their academic work with professional development. They can therefore freely use their ideas and learn the necessary abilities.

  • If you're considering studying in the UK but aren't sure why one of the key advantages is to experience real cultural variety. The UK is a terrific place for students to meet and get to know individuals from other cultures because it is home to people from all over the world. The United Kingdom is home to a diverse range of languages, civilizations, religions, cuisines, celebrated holidays, and many other things.

  • The affordability of university education in the UK is another significant benefit. This is so because obtaining a degree in the UK takes less time than it does in other nations. As a result, your tuition costs are lower. In the UK, a postgraduate degree may be earned in just one year and an undergraduate degree in just three years. In contrast, the majority of other nations require at least four years to finish an undergraduate degree and two to three years to get a postgraduate degree.

  • The superb healthcare services offered by the NHS are one of the most significant advantages of studying in the UK for international students (National Health Services). International students are eligible to get free medical treatment while studying in the UK. Students must pay an extra Immigration Health Surcharge in addition to the student visa cost in order to be eligible for these benefits.

Based on your academic choices and profile, the first step in the application process is to narrow down the schools and courses. Students may use AI-Course Finder to reduce the number of courses and colleges they are considering, make a list of the schools where they have the highest chance of getting accepted, and arrange the application process.

  • Step-2: Know Your Deadlines

The next step is to be aware of the precise application dates for the UK universities and institutions you intend to apply to. Application procedures for international students must be completed well in advance (one year to 6 months before the actual deadline). This guarantees that students may complete all college requirements, including SOP, reference letters, English proficiency exams, funding/scholarship possibilities, and accommodation.

  • Step-3: Take Entrance Tests

Tests like the IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, GRE, GMAT, LNAT, BMAT, and MAT are required for candidates to take as part of the third stage of the admission process for UK institutions (in some courses). Students may receive their submitted SAT or ACT exam scores from various colleges.

  • Step-4:  Compile Your Documents

Gathering all the necessary paperwork and test results for the application procedure is the next step. In order to achieve this, students should begin drafting their SOPs, requesting letters of recommendation from their professors and supervisors, and organising their financial accounts together with other papers like exam results. Students must download their vaccination records for the COVID-19 pandemic and identify the administered vaccine on the application.

  • Step-5: Get Started with Your Application

Students can begin the application process directly or through UCAS once they have all the required paperwork in order. By going to the institution's website, students may start the application process for UK universities that accept direct applications. They need to decide the courses they want to take, complete their online applications, and pay the application fees.

New Zealand has quickly risen to the top of the list of preferred locations for international students, and not just because it is a stunning country. This is also due to its top-notch educational system, internationally recognised credentials, abundance of research opportunities, and unrivalled quality of life. The following are some factors that make New Zealand a top choice for students-

  • Globally certified degrees- Globally certified degrees from any of the eight institutions in New Zealand consistently get excellent rankings in the QS World Rankings* and Times Higher Education Rankings, opening doors to prospects all over the world. The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) also makes sure that institutions are authorised to accept students from outside New Zealand and that they adhere to the requirements for qualifications. Students will have an advantage over the competition if they have a degree from one of the universities. The institutions' curricula are well-balanced, giving both academic and practical knowledge equal weight.

  • British-based education system- Because the educational programmes and degrees are inspired by the UK educational system, New Zealand is one of the top travel destinations for Indians. As a former province of the British Empire, it adheres to the tried-and-true British educational system, which is remarkably similar to that of India. The nation places a strong emphasis on research-based instruction, which means that students will learn to collaborate in teams and independently at different levels. Through student-teacher interaction, students will strengthen their ability to think critically, ask probing questions, put what they've learned in class into practice, and come up with new ways to solve problems. Students have the chance to get practical experience and information that can help them succeed anywhere around the globe. Any university in New Zealand awards degrees on par with those from institutions in Canada, Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Graduates from New Zealand universities are in high demand worldwide due to their reputations for technical innovation and research.

  • Great quality of life- According to the Global Peace Index 2018*, which measures a nation's political stability and social tolerance, New Zealand is ranked second. The great multi-cultural atmosphere that New Zealand offers blends seamlessly with the country's active outdoor lifestyle. New Zealand inspires wanderlust with its diverse natural vistas, which include snow-capped mountains, volcanic volcanoes, rolling green hills, golden sand beaches, and lush rainforests. Every student who studies and lives here has the opportunity to develop while experiencing the diversity of its culture and the beauty of its surroundings.

  • Work while you study- In New Zealand, international students are permitted to work up to 20 hours per week during the academic year and full-time during holidays. In reality, students will be permitted to work full-time if they are pursuing a research masters or doctorate degree. Working a part-time job not only helps students make ends meet, but it's also a terrific opportunity to make friends and network while expanding their horizons and learning more about other cultures and viewpoints.

  • Excellent programs and courses- The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA), a New Zealand government agency in charge of quality control, must approve all non-university education programmes, and all programmes provided by the country's state-funded institutions must pass rigorous quality inspections. In fact, if the course they intend to enrol in in New Zealand hasn't been given the go by a quality assurance organisation like NZQA, they won't be granted a student visa.

  • The Universities in New Zealand offer a wide spectrum of courses in diverse fields- Students can choose a course that interests them or pushes them to new heights, from engineering to social work. Students will undoubtedly have a competitive advantage over other students because of excellent educational standards, improved teaching practices, and the chance to learn from the best. Every course frequently includes industry-specific knowledge and practical experience, ensuring that graduates from these universities are quickly hired by the best firms worldwide.

  • Innovation and research- With its highly qualified teachers, well-stocked laboratories, and accessibility to the most recent tools and chances, New Zealand offers students a wealth of research prospects. A centre of new technologies, research, and development in a variety of sectors, including healthcare, physics, geology, engineering, astronomy, computer science, agriculture, etc., thanks to the nation's inventive spirit.

  • Lower living expenses and affordable educational costs- New Zealand's cost of living is significantly lower than that of many other top studies abroad locations. Compared to places like the USA, Canada, the UK, etc., living in New Zealand is less expensive since fresh food, lodging, and transportation are all cheaply priced. When compared to places like the USA, the UK, etc., institutions in New Zealand have substantially lower tuition fees for comparable structured programmes and degrees. Additionally, a variety of scholarships are offered for study to international students. Scholarships are offered by the institution and the government and are mostly determined by the applicant's past or present academic achievements.

  • Great Job Opportunities- 90% of students who find employment after graduation do so in job profiles that are related to the courses they have studied, according to Institutions New Zealand, the sector voice for all eight universities that represents their collective views nationally and globally. According to the most recent statistics (2019) from SEEK Employment Trends, opportunities increased by 9.4%, and most industries saw growth. Chris Whelan, executive director of Universities New Zealand, claims that 90% of graduates find employment after graduating, with a 97 per cent employment rate.
  • International exposure and diversity- Numerous overseas students attend universities in New Zealand, giving the country's students a genuinely global feel. John Goulter, the acting chief executive of Education New Zealand, predicts that there will be more than 1.2 lakh foreign students studying in New Zealand in 2016! Students from Europe, Japan, India, South America, and Australia are enrolled in a variety of programmes on all NZ university campuses.

The top study abroad programs opted for by international students for further education in New Zealand are-

Business- In New Zealand, business is the most popular and often chosen major. In the modern world, business has emerged as the most important and necessary sector. An MBA programme, in particular, focuses on educating students on how to think critically, evaluate, identify issues, and come up with practical and original solutions for those challenges.

Engineering- An enormous portion of young people have consistently chosen engineering as their career of choice. It has changed throughout the years and has led to the creation of other engineering specialities, including genetic engineering, mechatronics engineering, computer engineering, and software engineering. University engineering programmes in New Zealand provide cutting-edge infrastructure and intimate classroom sizes that let instructors give each student in the group individualised attention.

Tourism-Tourism is a wholly distinct topic of study that is becoming increasingly important in the modern world. In order to take a vacation from work, people have started to travel, go camping, and visit other nations and locations rather frequently. This has given the tourist sector a significant boost and created a wide range of chances for people looking to work in the sector. The New Zealand tourism programme not only emphasises the theoretical side of the subject but also handles recent developments in the field and prepares the students accordingly.

Hospitality Management- Along with tourism, the hospitality management sector is one that is expanding quickly. Students may receive practical industry knowledge and job skills through the hospitality management programme in New Zealand, which equips them with the confidence they need to enter the working world. Here, students will receive training from seasoned business executives who will provide them with in-depth industry insights.

Information Technology (IT)- The institutions in New Zealand that provide information technology to students equip them with user-friendly equipment, important facilities, highly qualified teachers, and much more to ensure a successful educational experience. Many useful and important abilities, such as critical analysis, problem-solving, creativity, adaptability, time management, teamwork, etc., are taught and developed by the students here.

In New Zealand, the cost of living is relatively high. A family of four spends between 6,000 and 8,000 New Zealand dollars every month, according to studies. Although New Zealand is less expensive than the United States, it may still be costly, so careful budgeting is required. Rent will be the biggest outlay for students; the typical monthly cost of living for one individual is between $3,000 and $4,000 NZD (1,800 to 2,400 USD). Depending on where you reside in New Zealand, these prices might change.

The cost of living will vary depending on your lifestyle and where you reside in the nation. For instance, due to reduced housing and transportation expenses, living in a small town may be more affordable than in a large metropolis. To give you an idea of what to budget for, Victoria University of Wellington, the University of Auckland, and the University of Otago (located in Dunedin) all estimate annual living expenses to be between $20,000 and $27,000.

  • For diploma courses, choose between a one-year diploma in computing ($46,752) or a one-term New Zealand certificate in engineering ($23,376).
  • The cost of undergraduate degrees is between $20,000 and $40,000, with greater costs associated with fields like medicine and veterinary science. In three years, several bachelor's degrees may be earned.
  • Approximately $20,000 to $45,000 in fees are charged for postgraduate degrees, with greater costs for fields like medicine and veterinary science.
  • For the majority of courses, international PhD students pay between $6,500 and $7,500 a year, which is the same as what New Zealand PhD students pay.

In order to be eligible for a student visa, applicants must be accepted for a course at an educational institution recognised by the Ministry of Education or the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA), have the necessary funds for their tuition or documentation of a scholarship covering those costs, demonstrate they will have enough money to support themselves while studying in New Zealand and have either a return ticket or the means to purchase one.

  • Step 3: Wait for Visa Approval- As soon as the applications are received, they are evaluated. You may occasionally be required to supply additional information as proof to support your visa throughout this procedure.

  • Step 4: Arriving in New Zealand- You are now able to travel to New Zealand to study and reside after receiving the visa clearance.
