With Massey’s Master of Engineering Studies (Electronics and Computer Engineering) students can move up the hierarchy in their engineering career and/or develop analytical skills through applied research. The Master of Engineering Studies (Electronics and Computer Engineering) combines taught and research courses at a postgraduate level, which will help students become excellent electronic and computer engineers. Students will be multi-disciplinary, have excellent practical skills and be able to design, develop and manage both software and hardware projects and will be capable of working in a team environment to solve problems, from the device level to networks, communication systems and embedded systems. In this qualification there is a strong emphasis on embedding computing and electronics technologies in everyday consumer products and the importance of the user interface, so students will gain the ability to learn independently and analyse industry needs, propose and, validate tangible technical solutions, identify when your knowledge of a problem is lacking and be able to access and use the information required.
