Course Description

The Bachelor of Interior Design (Honors) degree is a professional program that prepares students to work as interior designers in the built environment. The program focuses on the design of healthy living spaces that consider ecological, economic, and social aspects, and integrates professional and general studies with an emphasis on critical thinking and applied research. The program includes a strong experiential component, such as design studio experiences and engagement with the professional design community, as well as the opportunity for students to specialize in an area of interest in their fourth year and complete an applied research paper. Overall, the program aims to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the field of interior design.

To complete your degree, you must complete one mandatory paid co-op work term where you gain valuable work experience and network within the industry.
