The Bachelor of Public Safety (Honors) degree is a four-year program that prepares students for careers in public safety, including roles related to counteracting, coordinating, and investigating threats to individuals, organizations, and governments. The program focuses on providing students with a systematic approach to public safety and an understanding of Canadian legislation, as well as developing their investigative and analytical problem-solving skills. The program includes both theoretical and experiential courses, as well as applied research and two co-op work terms, which provide students with work-integrated learning opportunities. The program also aims to develop students' inter-professional capabilities, encouraging a collaborative approach to addressing public safety situations.
