A three-year advanced diploma in animation is a postsecondary educational program that prepares students for careers in the field of animation. Animation involves creating visual content, such as characters, scenes, and environments, that can be used in a variety of media, including the web, television, games, and film.
In this program, students will likely learn a range of skills related to traditional and computer animation, including drawing, storyboarding, character and scene design, and animation techniques. They may also learn about theories of motion, timing, and storytelling, and how to apply these concepts to the production of high-quality animations. They may also have the opportunity to practice using industry-standard equipment, facilities, and computer software, and to participate in hands-on learning experiences.
