Course Description

A three-year advanced diploma in human resources is a postsecondary educational program that prepares students for careers in the field of human resources (HR). HR professionals are responsible for managing the people-related aspects of an organization, including recruiting, training, compensating, and developing employees. They also play a key role in managing employee relations, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.

In this program, students will likely focus on a range of topics related to HR, including recruiting and selection, compensation and benefits, training and development, occupational health and safety, labor relations, leadership and motivation, and organizational behavior. They may also acquire skills in the use of industry-standard software and have the opportunity to interact with industry professionals and participate in hands-on learning experiences, such as case competitions.
