Course Description

Product Design is an interdisciplinary mix of creative design, with courses from science, engineering, and business. Product designers plan and develop items for use in homes, businesses, and industries. From creating a new lightweight kayak or a phone app to formulating natural cosmetics or a virtual training world, studying Product Design will equip students for a wide range of occupations. Graduates will be able to develop creative ideas based on their knowledge of related sciences and engineering disciplines, as well as gain the practical business skills needed to commercialise new product ideas.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility

12th : 75% An overall average of 75% with a minimum of 60% in English in the All-India Senior School Certificate or the India School Certificate (ISC),OR An overall average of 80% with a minimum of 65% in English from one of the following three Indian State Board year 12 qualifications: (i) Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), (ii) Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Higher (Secondary) School Certificate; (iii) Karnataka Pre-University Certificate,OR One year of successful study (B average / First Class / First Division) towards an undergraduate degree at a recognised university in India with a current NAAC accreditation of B or better,OR Completed a degree at a recognised university with a current NAAC accreditation of C or better Prior knowledge of science and mathematics is strongly recommended Applicants having knowledge of digital technologies, technology, or design and visual communication will be an added advantage.
TOEFL : Marks - 80/120 with at least 19 in writing.
PTE : Marks - 50/90 no PTE communicative skills score below 42.
IELTS : Marks - 6/9 with a minimum of 5.5 in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
