Course Description

The aim of the New Zealand Diploma in Engineering in Civil Engineering is to provide skilled and competent engineering technicians who apply engineering theory to practice. WelTec uses the Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ) graduate profile for technicians, which is benchmarked internationally to the Dublin Accord. Students will study civil and structural drawing, Hydraulics, Highway engineering, Geotechnical engineering, Traffic engineering, Water systems, Waste systems, Fluid mechanics and Structures.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility

12th : 65% Applicants should have a Higher Secondary Certificate with an average of 65% aggregate Prerequisites: English (Reading & Writing), Maths (preferably credits in algebra, calculus, or trigonometry) Successful completion of the NZ Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Engineering), or equivalent qualification/relevant trades training and experience.
TOEFL : Marks - 60/120 With score of 20 in writing.
PTE : Marks - 50/90.
IELTS : Marks - 6/9 With no band score lower than 5.5.
