The course is intended to highlight the unique character of Architecture as a field that crosses the sciences and the arts. Students will have access to a variety of workshop facilities both during lectures and during solo study hours, depending to availability. To create a strong and collaborative relationship between practise and academia, the course is guided by an advisory group of professional architects, comprising instructors with industry experience as well as guest lecturers. Our students in the Architecture MArch programme are encouraged to be both interested and critical of the elements that influence the built world. The course framework also represents an integration of and concern for human values, which should assist and encourage students in identifying roles for architecture in current society.
