Master of Nursing with Research is a graduate-level program designed to prepare nurses for advanced professional practice and leadership. You’ll explore theoretical perspectives that impact professional practice, clinical knowledge, health policy and law and ethics, communication skills, research methods, clinical management/supervision, leadership competencies in the master's degree program and beyond.
Students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct professional nursing research and have opportunities at the end of their program to publish their work.
The Master of Nursing (Research) program focuses on critical analysis, evaluation and research to enhance the health professional’s ability for independent practice and scholarship. The program promotes in-depth study of nursing research and provides expertise needed for highly effective research in nursing practices. This distinguished Master’s degree is designed for nurses who have already acquired a broad knowledge base in nursing but desire advanced study to further develop their skills.
