Designed for students interested in heritage conservation, offering a broad interdisciplinary approach to the subject. The course combines theoretical and practical learning, providing students with essential knowledge and advanced scholarship techniques, as well as hands-on experience in sustainable building conservation practice. Students will have the opportunity to engage with practical and professional issues through a series of focused skills modules from related disciplines. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through a voluntary work placement with a conservation organization in the York region. The course also includes an independent research project where students will develop their research skills.
