Course Description

This Public History degree program provides a unique opportunity to study the relationship between history and society, and gain hands-on experience in the heritage sector through a placement. The curriculum covers global perspectives on public history, the role of museums and other heritage institutions, and the use of new media in engaging with history. Students will also have the opportunity to develop practical skills by completing a public history project during the placement.
