Students will learn the core knowledge and practical skills required to meet the increasing demands and needs of the civil engineering industry. This two-year programme will provide students with theoretical and technical knowledge to apply practical solutions for working on the design, construction, and maintenance of civil engineering infrastructure, from roads and bridges to harbours, water, and wastewater facilities. Graduates may be employed as engineering technicians in workplaces with a technical/engineering basis relevant to civil engineering. Roles may include working on structures like roads, buildings, bridges, water resources such as waste and stormwater systems, and geotechnical assessments such as earthwork testing and monitoring.
