Course Description

The Master of Cyber Security programme allows students to develop the skills they will need to become a specialist in this area. There's an increasing international demand for trained cyber security professionals, and graduates of this programme help meet the New Zealand Government's Cyber Security Strategy. This masters degree is the first of its kind to be offered in New Zealand. Students will develop a thorough understanding of the technical, legal, policy and management aspects of cyber security and will also learn about cloud computing technologies and computer infrastructure, as well as the law relating to cyber security.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility

12th : No specific cutoff mentioned Graduation No specific cutoff mentioned Applicants must have completed a relevant bachelor's degree or postgraduate diploma, normally in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Applicants need an average of at least B in your 300 level or higher Computer Science papers.
TOEFL : Marks - 90/120 With a score of 22 in writing.
PTE : Marks - 58/90 With no less than 50 for each communicative skill.
IELTS : Marks - 6.5/9 With no less than 6.0 in writing.

Other eligibility criteria : If English was the language of instruction in the last two years of secondary/tertiary studies, an English language waiver may be considered.
