Course Description

Risk and investment management studies how organisations and investors should identify, analyse, and address relevant risks in order to maximise the possibilities of achieving their goals. The curriculum provides students with cutting-edge risk management tools and tactics employed by top financial institutions and regulatory authorities. Academics teaching on this programme are at the forefront of their professions, and many have significant industry experience. This course includes an academic collaboration with GARP (Global Association of Risk Professionals), which helps students prepare for the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) exams. This course is part of the PRMIA (Professional Risk Managers' International Association) Risk Accreditation Program, which allows students to avoid Professional Risk Manager (PRM) examinations I and II.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility

12th : No specific cutoff mentioned.
Graduation : 60% Applicants must hold a Honours degree or equivalent qualification acceptable to the University in Mathematics, Accountancy, Finance, Economics or other relevant quantitative subject with one of the following: First Division Pass and a minimum final average of 60% (in the traditional system) CGPA 7.5 out of 10 on the 10 point scale; or 7.0 out of 10 if this equates to 'Good' in the institutional grading system 4.0 out of 6.0/B/Good in the 6-point system Science and Engineering disciplines will be considered only when there is a significant mathematical component Previous work experience alongside academic qualifications will also be considered.
PTE : Marks - 62/90 With minimum of 51 in each component.
IELTS : Marks - 6.5/9 No band less than 5.5.

Other eligibility criteria : The University will normally accept 70% in the English Language in Standard XII in lieu of an IELTS Academic test. If awarded by one of the following Indian examination boards: All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Delhi Senior School Certificate Examination) awarded by the Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE Indian School Certificate (Year 12) awarded by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Higher Secondary Certificate (Year 12) awarded by the following State Boards: Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal.
