Course Description

Accounting is the act of gathering, measuring, analysing, and sharing data to help businesses and other organisations make better decisions. Statistics is concerned with arriving at objective conclusions from studies in which the results are unclear or variable. Some professional accounting tests are exempted from this degree. The financial sector aggressively seeks graduates proficient in all elements of statistics, both locally and throughout the UK, and a considerable percentage of KSL Honours graduates find work in the commercial sector, in insurance, accounting, finance, or banking. PricewaterhouseCoopers, Grant Thornton, Alexander Sloan, Cigna, Deloitte, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Credit Suisse have all hired recent grads.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility

12th : 75% The University of Glasgow will consider students with Central Board (CISCE or CBSE) or Metro state board qualifications. The normal minimum requirement is 75% average including 75% in key subjects, although certain degree courses require a higher standard Additional requirements: Higher Mathematics and a Higher Science subject.
IELTS : Marks - 6.5/9 With no sub-test under 6.0.
