Business economics is the study of economic ideas that are relevant to current business in order to have a thorough grasp of the resource allocation difficulties that a business firm and its environment face. Students will learn the fundamentals of microeconomics and macroeconomics, but they will also get the chance to apply economic concepts and models to business choices. Graduates learn how to do research, analyse data, communicate effectively, collaborate with others, make decisions, and solve problems. HMRC, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Barclays, DESMI Africa, and Taleveras Group are among the companies that have hired recent graduates. The Adam Smith Business School has specialised international accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and from the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), operated by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).
