Course Description

A specialisation in Civil Engineering offers students a combined emphasis on buildings, infrastructure and development, and environmental management. This programme is designed to offer students a well-rounded education that prioritises tangible applications for technical knowledge in mathematics and science. In this specialisation, students will learn a range of skills, like how to design structures for loads they will experience doing their lifetime, and understand key infrastructure problems so they can design them to support modern cities. There’s also a substantial focus on environmental concerns, such as how to balance environmental issues during a construction project and the proper planning of stormwater and waste management facilities.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility

12th : 75% Applicants must have passed 12 years of schooling and an overall average of 75% in the All-India Senior School Certificate (AISSC) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) with a minimum of 70 percent in English 75 percent in the Karnataka, Maharashtra, and West Bengal State Board Examinations with a minimum of 70 percent in English 80 percent in all other Higher Secondary State Board Examinations with a minimum of 75 percent in English Subjects required: Mathematics and Physics with an average of 85% in both.
TOEFL : Marks - 90/120 With a Writing score of 21.
PTE : Marks - 58/90 Communicative skills score: 50.
IELTS : Marks - 6.5/9 With 6.0 or better in all bands.

Other eligibility criteria : Applicants are not required to submit English language proficiency scores, if they have scored 75% in English awarded from Indian School Certificate (ISC) or All-India Senior School Certificate (AISSC).
