The Aviation Institute has campuses in Auckland and Christchurch, New Zealand and comprises five constituent schools. These are - the School of Flight, School of Engineering, School of Service, School of Ground Operations and the School of Business Leadership. Catering to private airlines, governments and individuals aspiring to learn flying the Aviation Institute is one of the finest institutions of its kind. An aircraft hangar and multiple workshops provide the perfect environment for the training of aircraft maintenance engineers. Full flight simulators are located alongside fleet specific classrooms and other associated training equipment. These facilities are available for hire by customer airlines. 125 Orchard Road, Harewood, Christchurch Home to Air New Zealand Academy of Learning’s students studying aircraft maintenance. With a dedicated hangar, aircraft and workshops, it is also situated next to Air New Zealand's maintenance base and overlooks the runway at Christchurch International Airport.
