Asia Pacific International College

Asia Pacific International College (APIC) is a dynamic Australian Higher Education Institution with two campuses in Australia that offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. The Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency has accredited API's courses (TEQSA). Asia Pacific International College (APIC) was founded in 2004 with the specific goal of addressing the challenges that all graduates face in the workplace.

APIC was officially registered as a degree-granting Australian Higher Education Institution in 2006, and its courses and degrees were accredited by the Higher Education Directorate in NSW. In 2009, APIC was successfully re-registered, and its courses were re-accredited. A new suite of business management courses was introduced in 2010. These expanded the College's programme offerings in project management and business administration and management. In addition, APIC was registered as a CRICOS provider in 2009, allowing the College to offer its programmes to international students. APIC was purchased by the Education Centre of Australia in 2012.

APIC campuses offer communal and social areas, libraries with quiet study areas, computer labs, and unlimited high-speed wireless internet access. APIC offers approximately 8 courses in two streams: management and information technology, as well as degrees such as Bachelor of Business, Master of Business and Project Management, Diploma, and Certificate. The programmes are designed to provide students with the management knowledge and skills they need to succeed in a time of complexity and change.

APIC believes that continuing opportunities for formal education should be encouraged through the recognition of prior learning. The Award of Credit Policy outlines the standards, systems, and cutoff points for granting credit for a student's prior learning (RPL) and experience toward an APIC award course. Credit is APIC's acknowledgement that students gained the knowledge, skills, and application equivalent to the Course and Unit Learning Outcomes for the units for which credit is granted.

All APIC academic staff can apply for Small Research Grants (SRG) under the Asia Pacific International College (APIC) Scheme (permanent, contract, and sessional). The SRG plan aims to improve APIC's research and scholarship culture. Awards are available to support research in APIC's substantive disciplines as well as research into learning and teaching. APIC SRGs are typically for a maximum of $7500.00, despite the fact that many projects will require less funding. Awards for cross-disciplinary collaboration or collaboration with external partners may be worth up to $10,000.00. Asia Pacific Global College also has some limited funds to assist students who wish to present the results of APIC research at conferences. The funds can be used for a variety of purposes.

Student Learning Support at APIC means improving the academic experience for all students by encouraging and motivating them to do their best work, as well as developing aptitudes for academic success and job opportunities. Academic assistance is provided through three primary channels: online academic skills resources, individual and small group consultations, and in-class skill development.
