Griffith University

Griffith University is a public research university in South East Queensland on the east coast of Australia and was established in 1971, formally opened in 1975, and introduced the country’s first degree in Environmental science and Asian studies. Griffith University’s namesake came from twice Premier of Queensland and the first Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia, Sir Samuel Griffith who played a huge role in the Australian Federation and was the author of the Constitution of Australia. The university’s main campus is in Nathan, with four other campuses across three cities in Australia, the largest are the Gold Coast Campus in Southport and the Nathan Campus in Brisbane. The other campuses are the Mount Gravatt Campus, the South Bank Campus, and the Logan Campus in Meadowbrook. Griffith University also has a Digital Campus that offers a wide range of online courses and programs. 

Griffith University has a student population of more than 50,000 students and offers a wide range of programs in the areas of business and government, education, environment, criminology and law, planning and architecture, engineering and information technology, humanities, health, languages, music, science and aviation among others for the undergraduate, postgraduate and research degree. Campus Information

Is situated in suburb of Gold Coast of Southport, it has a student population of 18,200 students from across the world and is the university’s largest campus. Logan Campus

Is located on the edge of Toohey Forest and is less than 10 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD. The Nathan Campus has a student population of over 13,000 students and offers courses and programs in business and government, engineering and information technology, environment, humanities and languages, law, and science and aviation. The Nathan campus has two residential colleges for students and a range of sporting facilities.

Nathan campus

Mount Gravatt campus
